The Orchestra Senzaspine, led by Maestro Tommaso Ussardi, will perform the score restored and orchestrated by M° Timothy Brock. The music becomes a narrative thread, amplifying the emotions of the images and enriching their expressive power, transforming the screening into an intense experience of cinema and live music. The Pilgrim was a sharp, no-holds-barred satire of frontier bigotry, where our Tramp—the eternal wanderer—balances on the fine line between laughter and tragedy, leading towards the most invaluable masterpieces of perhaps the greatest filmmaker of all time.
